Help with DIY glass etching for Christmas gift - etching glass jewelry box? I am buying a men's jewelry box as a gift, and I would really like to personalize the glass top. I know that etching paints exist, but I am wondering if it will be possible for me to use them, as I don't know if I will be able to remove the glass from the box (and therefore won't be able to use running water to clean the paint off). I don't imagine wiping would be a good idea. Is this something I can do on my own? Should I just take it to professionals somewhere?

Where can I get custom stickers? I was wanting to know where I can have custom stickers printed or made, in a small quantity of like x100 or so. I'm just starting, but I do expect more sales. I want something classy but simple and affordable. An ebay seller sent me a package recently and they had a nice silver, oval shaped sticker with their store name on it on the box the item was shipped in. It made the entire thing look more professional without being extreme. Does anyone know of a website where I can have something like this done? I don't have a printer, printing things would be out of the question. I don't have pretty handwriting or know anyone who does, or I'd have it done that way. Another What should I get my Mom for her birthday question? I have $50 and 5 days to find my mom a nice gift. Part of the problem is that my birthday is 3 days before her's so we go out to eat and see a movie and all that good stuff so now I'm looking for something different for her special day. What are some unique, *useable* bridesmaids gifts? I am getting married in December and have been browsing gifts for my bridesmaids. I've been to websites that offer them, but I'm not really interested in what they have to offer. As I look at them I wonder what something would be that I myself would want and use, and none of them really pass that test. It seems they all suggest monogrammed beach bags, flasks, picture frames, cheap(ish) looking jewelry and jewelry boxes. Those kind of all struck me as things my aunts used to give me for Christmas when I was younger that I never used. The other problem is the variety of the bridesmaids. One of them is particularly wealthy, so I don't know how interested she would be in a $15 monogrammed tote when she has a closet full of LV and D&G. I think it's a little tacky to get them flasks, and I don't see any of them wearing the jewelry the sites offer. I want to get them all (besides the maid of honor) basically uniform gifts, because I don't want an unsaid issue of one girl liking someone else's gift more than another. Basically what I'm saying is: these girls have done a LOT already in helping me plan and have been so open and warm about their inclusion in the bridal party, and I want to give them something that will make them truly know how appreciative I am. On the other hand, I can't afford to go out and get all 5 girls something fancy from Tiffany & Co. or something like that, and I know they're not expecting anything close to that anyway. They're all still young (20-24) and unfortunately the dresses we decided on aren't something they would be able to wear elsewhere, so again, I want something they'll enjoy, appreciate and use. birthday present ideas for a 15 yr old girl? OK, so my bestie's birthday is coming up in about 2 weeks and I am totally clueless. I am desperate for ideas. She is into jewelry though but we have totally different tastes and I don't wanna make a mistake. She is brainy, loves loves loves music and playing the piano (she's doing her diploma now).
